Landon Engineering is seeking an experienced Welder to join our busy fabrication workshop. You’ll work on a wide range of projects, from heavy structural steel to precision stainless steel fabrications, supporting industries including power generation, defence, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and MMA welding to high-quality standards

Interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures

Conduct visual inspections of welds and identify defects
-
Work safely and efficiently following all health and safety protocols

Collaborate with fabricators, inspectors, and project managers

Maintain welding equipment and work area cleanliness
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience as a welder in a heavy fabrication environment

Welders coded to ASME IX, BS EN 287, or equivalent standards preferred

Knowledge of working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
-
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication and team working skills

CSWIP or PCN inspection certifications are a plus
