Founded in Stafford

Landon Engineering was established in 1984 to support the UK’s growing power distribution infrastructure. The company quickly built a reputation for precision engineering, specialising in transformer tanks and large-scale power generation fabrications for utility providers across the country.

1990s

Building a Reputation for Reliability

Through the 1990s, Landon strengthened its position as a trusted partner to utility companies and power equipment manufacturers. 2000s

Investment and Diversification

The 2000s saw a period of investment and diversification. Landon expanded its fabrication capabilities, upgraded its workshop equipment, and broadened its offering to support infrastructure, transport, and general industrial projects. This decade marked a shift from purely power-focused work to wider contract fabrication.

2018

Acquired by the DMI Group

In 2018, Landon Engineering was acquired by the DMI Group, a strategic move that enabled integration with a wider portfolio of engineering services. Backed by group expertise in heat exchangers, valve systems, and surface protection, Landon gained new momentum and project scope.
